India-Pakistan Bilateral Nuclear Arms Control System and Its Practical Implementation: a Pakistani view

Traditionally, the term nuclear arms control is strongly associated with Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty or Russian-American bilateral agreements. Besides US-Russia regime, there at least one more interesting case in world, which certainly deserves attention — a specific of India-Pakistan relations this field. These two countries had to interact very peculiar regional and context, thus they have formulated their understanding basic concepts control. The world’s current situation developing towards revising mechanisms possible expansion multilateral formats negotiations. Although these states possess weapons, are outside non-proliferation regime. Yet, Pakistan India could be potentially involved extended format debate.
